Caltech is an adhesively bonded soffit liner. A non combustible calcium silicate board, typically 6mm thick, is bonded to a mineral wool, polystyrene or phenolic insulation medium to form a thermally and acoustically sound, impact resistant soffit liner which can be fixed to concrete soffits in semi-exposed situations.
Flexibility of board size and insulation medium combine to provide cost effective solutions to bespoke installations.

Technical Data
|
Basic Composition - Caltech is an adhesively bonded soffit liner combining a non combustible calcium silicate board with an insulation medium of either mineral wool, polystyrene or phenolic insulation.
General Properties - Caltech is resistant to water penetration, humidity changes, rot, insects, termites vermin and is fire rated class 0. The insulation is odourless and non-hygroscopic.
Machine-ability - Caltech can be cut, drilled, nailed and worked in a similar fashion to timber and chipboard with standard wood working tools.
Applications - Caltech is primarily used as a means of providing insulation to car park ceilings.
Maintenance - Virtually maintenance free - cost effective.
Health & Safety - Appropriate health and safety precautions must be adhered to when working with this product (see lifting and handling section).
