Cemboard is an excellent sheathing and accoustic building board. The product is used extensively as an outer sheathing board onto metal and timber frame structures, behind the outer cladding finish.

Basic Composition - Cemboard is manufactured from chemically treated rubber wood chips and mixed with Portland cement.
General Properties - Cemboard posses a stable crystalline structure is reasonably resilient
to water penetration, humidity changes, rot, insects, termites, vermin and is fire rated class O.
Machine-ability - Cemboard can be cut, drilled, nailed and worked in a similar fashion to timber and chipboard with standard wood working tools, but offers a much longer performance life.
Applications - Cemboard offers excellent sheathing and accoustic properties. The product is primarily used behind external cladding systems as a sheathing board, or in accoustic applications in walls, floor and roof structures.
Maintenance - Virtually maintenance free and so cost effective.
